Kristall Galerie — World's Largest Crystal Cluster

A world-class attraction hiding in plain sight in Swakopmund: the Kristall Galerie houses the largest known quartz crystal cluster on public display anywhere on Earth — discovered on an Erongo farm in August 1985, estimated at 520 million years old. Surrounded by jewellery boutiques, a gem scratch patch (dig for your own stones), a rock cave, and a live gem-cutting studio where artists add value to semi-precious stones. Admission charged for the main crystal display; the shops are free.
