Lüderitz’s most iconic landmark: a neo-Gothic Lutheran church perched on a rocky hill above the town, consecrated in 1912. Designed by German architect Albert Bause with Victorian elements. The stained glass windows were donated personally by Kaiser Wilhelm II. A National Monument since 1978 and one of the oldest Lutheran churches in Namibia. The silhouette at sunset — church against desert sky above a colonial German town — is unforgettable.
