Pelican Point Lodge — Lighthouse at the Tip of the Peninsula

One of Namibia’s most extraordinary places to stay — 9 individually designed suites built into a converted historic harbour control building at the Pelican Point lighthouse (operating since the early 1930s), on a remote sandbar peninsula between the South Atlantic and the Walvis Bay Lagoon. Accessible only by 4WD or boat. The lodge is surrounded on all sides by 50,000 Cape fur seals, pods of dolphins, breeding seabirds and — in season — whales.
