The most famous camp in Etosha — and home to what many consider the best wildlife waterhole in Africa. The Okaukuejo waterhole is floodlit all night and attracts black rhino almost every evening between 21:00 and midnight; in July–September elephant herds of 60+ gather here. Lion are year-round possibilities. The camp itself offers chalets, family cottages and large shaded campsites, plus a restaurant, bar and pool. Located 17km from Anderson Gate — the first and last stop for most Windhoek-approach visitors. Book the waterhole-facing chalets well ahead.
