Place Category: AccommodationPlace Tags: NWR Camp
The most atmospheric NWR camp in Etosha — built inside and around a beautifully whitewashed German colonial fort dating from 1906. Near the eastern Von Lindequist Gate and adjacent to Fischer’s Pan — one of Etosha’s best birding locations, particularly for waders and waterbirds when flooded. The fort towers, battlements and shaded inner courtyard give Namutoni a romance unlike any other camp in the park. Chalets and camping available.
