Africa’s 4th largest national park at 49,768km² — larger than Switzerland. Encompasses the ancient Namib Desert (estimated 55-80 million years old, the world’s oldest desert), the Naukluft Mountains and Sossusvlei dune fields. Entry gate at Sesriem for Sossusvlei; Naukluft section for serious multi-day hiking.
